I'm sorry, but
The Fear Index by Robert Harris was a waste of my time. I decided to read it based on a list I found of the most suspenseful books. This book was not suspenseful. I figured out what was going on in chapter 5. The main character is a jerk and is not someone you want to cheer for. The premise of an artificial intelligence learning all about human emotion and human activities and making money for a hedge fund was just boring despite sounding like a really cool idea. The activities occurring throughout the book were boring. Like I said, it was a waste of my time. I give it a 1 out of 5 stars.
